CBT Testing

All Canyon Rim Academy students in the 4th-6th grades will be taking part in the statewide CBT test starting May 3. Parents are asked to ensure that their child eats a healthy breakfast, gets enough sleep on the nights before testing, and is up early enough so that he/she will be on time to school.
Enrollment Applications
Canyon Rim Academy is accepting enrollment applications for the 2010-2011 school year for all grades. To start your application, please visit the school office at 3005 So. 2900 E. to fill out an application.

Kindergarten Enrichment: Canyon Prep Academy
Canyon Rim Academy offers a regular half day Kindergarten to students that are accepted through the lottery. To supplement that course, a “Kindergarten Enrichment” course under the umbrella of “Canyon Prep Academy” is offered for those that would like to extend their child’s half day to a full day Kindergarten experience. This class is taught by Hilari Kwon and is held in Room 3 at Canyon Rim Academy. Applications are available from Miss Hilari in Room 3 or in the CRA Office.
• Classes begin Monday, August 30, 2010
• Morning and Afternoon Sessions are available Monday – Thursday.
• AM Session: 8:30 – 11:30 PM Session: 12:15 – 3:15
• Friday’s are short day schedule, 8:30 – 10:30 AM & 11:15 – 1:15 PM
• Tuition: $375.00 per month
• Registration Fee: $25.00 due with application
• Acceptance into the program is on a first come, first served basis.
• Enrollment requirements: 3 days a week minimum, preference will be given to students enrolling 5 days a week. Must be enrolled the entire school year.
• Transportation is not provided.
• CRA Uniform Policy
Enrollment in Kindergarten Enrichment does not in any way ensure enrollment at Canyon Rim Academy.
Special Education Program Improvement Plan Summary

This summary is part of a report CRA submitted to the State Office of Education as part of a 5 year process of improvement of which every public school is a part. CRA is happy to report that our Special Education department showed no areas of noncompliance outside of minor file errors. Congratulations to the team who worked so hard on this part of the improvement process.
After School Enrichment
Canyon Rim Academy is now offering an after school program that is available to EVERY student from Kindergarten to the 6th grade. Daily and monthly fees apply. For more information, click here. For the payment form, click here.
Pre-K Enrichment, Canyon Prep Academy
For the first time beginning next fall, Canyon Rim Academy is offering a half day Preschool or Pre-K Enrichment program under the umbrella “Canyon Prep Academy”. This is a four day per week program. Applications are available in the CRA office.
• Classes begin Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
• Classes will be held Monday – Thursday, morning session only.
• Class time: 8:30 – 11:30 AM
• Tuition: $180.00 per month.
• Registration Fee: $25.00 due with application.
• Acceptance into the program is on a first come, first served basis.
• Enrollment Requirements: Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2010. Enrollment is for the entire school year.
• Transportation is not provided.
• No uniform policy.
Enrollment in Pre-K Enrichment does not in any way ensure enrollment at Canyon Rim Academy.
